1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Challenge
Register at the Library & pick up a reading log to get started. Each time you and your child complete 100 books there will be incentives related to our READ ‘MO BOOKS theme. Pigeon, Piggy, and Elephant are eager to have you stop by.
Read 3 books a day to your child, in just one year you will have read 1,095 books!
Experts tell us that children need to hear a thousand stories read aloud before they begin to learn to read for themselves.
