Libby
Libby, the library reading app
Libby is a service available to anyone with a library card from Somerset or any other library in the IFLS System. Ebooks and eAudiobooks can be read on phones and tablets with the free Libby app.
Instructions for using Libby on your phone/tablet
Step 1: Download the Libby, by Overdrive app from the app store.
Step 2: Open the app. It will ask if you have a library card. Select yes.
Step 3: Select the “I’ll Search For A Library” option on the next screen.
Step 4: Search “Somerset IFLS”. This should bring up “Wisconsin Public Library Consortium”. Select This.
Step 5: The app will ask if you prefer to read on a Kindle or if you want to read on your current device. Select your device.
Step 6: Next you’ll need to sign in with your location. Select “Choose Your Location” on the next screen, and find Somerset Public Library on the list.
Step 7: The app will ask for your library card number, found on the back of your card. Enter this and select “Sign in”.
Step 8: The app will show you your digital library card, which lists how many loans and holds you have on Libby. Select “Next”.
Step 9: This will take you to the digital library. Search for or select books. You can borrow if it is available, or place a hold if it is not.
